Children’s Museum of Cleveland
The museum is an interesting and interactive place for kids and adults to learn and have fun together. Specifically for children ages 12 months – 8 years and their caregivers.

Cleveland Botanical Gardens
Kids will marvel at the exciting adventures that await in the Children’s Garden. Here, youngsters can hide away in a magical tree house retreat, steal a scent of a mint leaf or get up close with the frogs, turtles and fish in the pond.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo & The RainForest is open all year and home to more than 3000 animals representing 600 species, including the largest collection of primate species in North America.

Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Exhibits include Dinosaur bones, natural gemstones and fossils, and a huge section on Ohio birds, plant life, insects, and archeology. A planetarium teaches kids and adults all about the moon, the stars, and the galaxy.

Great Lakes Science Center
The Polymer Funhouse lets children 7 and younger stretch, shake, build, pull and play with polymers of all types in the special area. A ball pit and playland means that it’s friendly for all ages!

Greater Cleveland Aquarium
The Greater Cleveland Aquarium features more than 40 tanks of all sizes, which are home to thousands of living creatures. From the Ohio-native brook trout, to the ferocious piranhas, as well as the sand tiger sharks that reach more than seven feet long, our residents will fascinate and entertain you. The Greater Cleveland Aquarium promises wonder and excitement around every corner.

Lake Metroparks Farmpark
Farmpark is a family oriented science and cultural center devoted to agriculture, farming, and country life.

NASA Glenn Research Center
The visitors’ center features 6000 square feet of exhibit space, with interactive exhibits on the center’s namesake, John Glenn, as well as on the Apollo Era, space flight, and the space shuttles.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Cleveland’s most popular attraction is fun for visitors of all ages.

The Western Reserve Historical Society Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum
It’s bumper-to-bumper fun for the little ones. The museum showcases nearly 200 antique, vintage, and classic automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, automobile culture and aircraft. The Crawford collection is one of the top ten in the nation, according to Car Collector magazine.

If your family lives in (or near) the Chagrin Valley and are expecting a child or have at least one child younger than kindergarten age, come join our group! We provide a wide array of options for parents in the Chagrin Valley - playgroups, parties, mom's night out, parent's night out, weekly events, parties, family picnics, and lots more.

Playgroups

CVECA helps connect moms with similar-aged children and similar interests in the form of playgroups and special interest groups.

Members run the playgroups themselves, and many groups become quite close and last years! Find out more about our playgroups.
