Members and friends, CVECA needs your help as we start our biggest volunteer drive of the year.

Join us as we donate cuddly handmade fleece blankets to the Children’s Unit of Rainbow Children and Babies. These blankets are easy to make, require no sewing and could be the perfect thing to help cheer up a sick child. To get involved and support our cause please donate $10 for the blanket making kit. You can make it a family project by taking the kit home, fringing the edges of the material and simply tying knots around the sides to complete the blanket (instructions are included in the kit). If you aren’t able to make a blanket at home but would like to be involved please donate $10 and the blanket will be completed for you. Our goal is 50 blankets so we need as many of you involved as we can get!

A group will be gathering to pick out kits and begin making blankets at the Chagrin Falls Library Community Room on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd from 4:00 – 5:00pm. You can stop by to pick from one of many designs at this time. If you can’t make it to the library, email Jill Farrar at [email protected] to reserve your kit and set up a pick up location.
