CVECA Committees
Committees are necessary tools for volunteer organizations who are committed to providing valuable services and resources to its members. CVECA is fortunate to have volunteers to chair each of its committees. Each chair welcomes the opportunity to work with other CVECA members and are seeking additional volunteers.
CVECA committees are formed for a common goal or specific event. Once the goal is reached or the event is completed, then the committee is dissolved. We ask that each member volunteer their talents and time for at least one event, party, or committee throughout the year.
Weekly Events Committee
From CVECA playdates at community parks, field trips to recreation centers, and VIP invites to area preschools, the weekly events offer a variety of activities for everyone.

Kids Party Planning Committee
CVECA hosts four annual parties which include the Kids Carnival and Membership Kick-Off, CVECA Halloween Costume Bash, Wintertime Party and Fun Family Picnic.
If you are interested in helping out, whether its organizing, setup, making snacks, decorating, or planning the activities, for any of these parties, please contact the Kids Party Chair, Jill Farrar at jmfarrar@gmail.com
Sunshine Committee
It’s time for CVECA’s gourmet chefs and take-out menu mavens to unite! The Sunshine Group is looking for volunteers who will brighten our members’ days by bringing them a meal. Whether it’s for a parents enjoying a new baby or a family going through a difficult time, we need your culinary (or take-out ordering) skills! The Sunshine Group also needs volunteers to address envelopes for birthday cards being sent to CVECA kids. For more information, contact Renee Morgan at renee_gorski@yahoo.com
Membership Committee
The CVECA membership drive is constant. However, there are special events that occur where additional support is needed such as the annual Membership Kick-Off Party and New Member Social. Please contact Kim Dixon at kimberlysue@windstream.net to find out how you can help.
CVECA Gives Back Committee
Support and help is provided to local social services and organizations in need through CVECA's philanthropic efforts.
Fund Raising Committee
CVECA fund raising efforts is a way for us to obtain assistance to support our events and operations. As a non-profit organization CVECA seeks to establish relationships with area businesses where a mutual exchange can occur. Publicity Committee
It is important that CVECA continues to convey its value as a resource for Chagrin Valley families and area businesses. Various channels exists from which CVECA promotes its activities including, local newspapers, ad circulars and participation in events hosted by other area organizations. Web Site Committee
The CVECA website is the "go to" place for information on all CVECA events and activities. The site is dynamic and ever changing as we strive to establish an on-line location where members could meet, discuss topics, share ideas, and build friendships.
